Stone roofs have a centuries-old tradition in the valleys south of the Alps, and the Calanca Valley is no exception. Thanks to its unique characteristics and, above all, durability, this product is still in great demand in our region.

The pictures show the renovation of a stone roof in gneiss Calanca, from the removal of the old roof slabs, to the laying of the new wooden supports and the new roof slabs.
